In 1994 Jerry met Shidokan master Christian Pujol on the Island of St.Martin.
It was Christian who introduced Jerry to shidokan. After training the Shidokan style for a year Jerry went with Christian and Marco London (already a two time champion) to the Shidokan World open in Chicago / USA. The title he won in that tournament would be the first of many.
Rules & Regulations
The matches consist of 6 six rounds:
-two two minute rounds bare-knuckle karate rules containing judo throws
-two two minute rounds thai kickboxing rules
-two two minute rounds thai kick and grabling/submission rules
The final consist of 9 rounds. 3 ronds of bare-knuckle, 3 rounds of thai kickboxing and 3 rounds of grabling
